PFI: Investigation by File on Four

Jun 17, 2011

We thought you should listen to the File on Four Radio broadcast from the BBC on PFI. It’s a pretty damning piece of journalism by Jerry Northam.

Bear in mind when he interviews David Metter (towards the end of the podcast) that Metter is a man who has built a personal wealth of over £60 million from accepting taxpayers money in the form of PFI payments. He is the boss of Innisfree, a prime mover in the PFI world, and as such represents the Public Private Partnership Forum. His defence of the PFI/PPP cash cow is very much in his own personal interests above and beyond anything else.

You can download the podcast from the BBC website.
