Thailand
30,000 demonstrated against the war on 20 October.
Indonesia
20,000 demonstrated in Jakarta on 20 October.
Belgium
20,000 demonstrated outside the EU summit in Ghent on Friday 19 October.
France
5000 people marched in Paris against the war on Thursday 11 October. Protests also took place in Lille, Bayonne, Marseille, Cahors, Lyon, St. ?âtienne, Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy, Toulouse, Strasbourg and Brest.
United States
Protests have taken place on over 150 college campuses. 2,600 people have protested in Portland, and 3,000 at the University of California at Berkley.
Italy
Over 10,000 people protested in Rome.
Australia
2,000 people attended a peace rally in Adelaide, as did 300 in Melbourne and over 400 in Canberra.
Germany
3,000 people joined a demo in Hamburg; 6,000 protested in Kassel and 1,500 in Stuttgart. 5,000 school students joined protests.
Protests also took place in Spain, Austria and Ireland.
