WEEKEND OF RESiSTANCE AGAiNST CUTS
The relentless and militant student actions of recent months inspires a resistance movement that’s growing every day. Currently over 20 universities are under occupation while Town Halls have been besieged and Tax Dodgers like Vodafone and Top Shop stores are been targeted and shut down. And this is just the beginning.
We did have an even more packed weekend to report, with various bits of fun organised around the London Liberal Democrat conference originally scheduled for Saturday. But after moving the venue to avoid a protest at the conference, the protest moved as well. The Lib Dems cancelled. We would like to thank the Lib Dems for showing such ineptitude and having such a loyal membership who wouldn’t dream of telling a bunch of activists where their event was being held.
But mostly we’d like to congratulate the LibDems for being a party of government unable to hold a conference i the capital city.
