at Nuclear Dockyard - Plymouth
From midday. National day of protest as the first Trident
nuclear submarine arrives to berth at Plymouth. Protest is against
Trident and storage of large quantities of nuclear waste at the
dockyard. Day will include march and non-violent direct action
including sit-down protests at all five dockyard gates. Church halls
are being arranged for accommodation if you travel down on Saturday.
Workshops and discussion forums are also planned. Protest called by
local anti-nuclear group CANSAR, Socialist Alliance and
