Satpal Ram was unjustly convicted
of murder in 1987. He is a Bengali man who was attacked by a racist
in a restaurant and was stabbed. He was forced to fought back with a
knife. The racist died after refusing medical help. Though most
defence witnesses at Satpal's trial spoke only Bengali, no
interpreter was provided. Satpal has faced 13 years of racist abuse
