Monday 5 March Protests against GlaxoSmithKline - Nationwide
Drugs company GSK are leading a court case in South Africa to impose patents on their HIV treatments. This would hike the price, and condemn thousands of South Africans to death. Feedback from local protests on 5 March on our GSK page.

Thursday 29 March Tube Strike against Privatisation - London
The courts ruled the last RMT strike illegal on a technicality - so the RMT has re-balloted, and 92% voted to strike against privatisation. Train drivers' union ASLEF is also striking. More details to come.
Thursday 29 March Trident Vigil Outside High Court - Edinburgh
Three law lords will give their ruling on Friday morning as to whether the Trident nuclear weapons system is illegal, and whether citizens have the right to break the law to stop the state committing war crimes. All night vigil starts at 5.30pm. More info here.
Friday 30 March Scottish Law Lords Rule on Trident
The ruling will be announced at 10am. Scottish CND are calling for everyone who can to attend. More info here.
Friday 30 March Black Communities in Colombia: What's Going On - Edinburgh

Saturday 31 March Clydebank Asbestos Group March - Glasgow
Assemble 10.30am, Queens Square, Clydebank. March to the Rally at Clydebank Town Hall. Speakers include Tommy Sheridan MSP, Bill Speirs Gen Secretary STUC and Joan Baird, Clydebank Asbestos group. 5000 Scottish shipyard workers will die of asbestos related illness in the next ten years. The company due to pay them compensation has gone bust.
Saturday 31 March Debate: GM Foods, Right or Wrong? - Edinburgh
3.30-5.30pm, Lecture Theatre, Royal Botanic Gardens, 20a Inverleith Row. �2, students free. Dr Arpad Pusztai and Prof Tony Trewavas will each speak for 30 minutes and then answer questions. Dr Pusztai has been barred from the Edinburgh Science Festival, so the McCarrison Society (who work around nutrition and health) have organised this instead.
