We have marched together against the G8, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Prague, in Genoa, in Evian. We took part, all together, in the siege of the European Union Summits in Thessalonica, Nice, Seville, Brussels. We met during the huge antiwar rallies on the 15th of February 2003, in the mass demonstrations against racism, in working class mobilizations defending pensions, public health and education, in rallies against the destruction of the environment, the "anti"terrorist laws and repression. Today we are more confident that another world is possible, where people will be before profit. We hope to see you all in Athens in May 2006, at the 4th European Social Forum. The organisation committee of the 4th European Social Forum

BP HQ, 1 St James Square, London, SW1Y 4PD (Piccadilly Circus Tube) BP HQ, 1 St James Squar SHOW BP THAT WE'RE NOT GOING AWAY!

BP's oil pipeline through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey is due to come onstream this May 27. Construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan project has severely disrupted the environment and local lives for 3 years, yet this is only the beginning. Now, affected communities face the constant threat of leaks and intimidation from security forces. Meanwhile, BTC will accelerate climate chaos, pumping 1 million barrels of crude oil every day for the next forty years. The BTC pipeline props up authoritarianism in Azerbaijan, has rendered numerous Georgian homes uninhabitable and polluted water supplies, and led to imprisonment and torture of critics by the Turkish state. BP are convinced that now that the pipes are buried, they can sit back and relax. Meanwhile, the affected communities fear that when the oil starts flowing, we'll forget about them. Prove them wrong!
