Haidi Guiliani, the mother of Carlo who was killed at the Genoa demonstrations last year by the carabineri, is coming to Britain to speak on a tour designed to build the ESF. Haidi has been a full time activist since the murder of Carlo. She has spoken at countless protests and meetings across Europe. She is very inspiring, determined that the loss of her son is not in vain, and furiously fighting for the different world that Carlo dreamt of too.

Her ideas differ from her son's but she, just like the movement in it's best aspects, can work from the common ground found amongst all opponents of neo-liberalism and war.
