Book
coaches for 28 September. Many unions have anti war policy - try to
organise transport through union branches, mosques etc. We can get
very large numbers of coaches. |
 |
Contact
Stop the War Coalition for posters and leaflets. Put posters up
everywhere you can think of - they want people to know about
the date as soon as possible. Circulate leaflets to local supporting
organisations. |
 |
Get out on
the streets with leaflets, petitions, stalls. Collect money for the
Coalition to help pay for the demo - send it in as quickly as
possible. |
 |
Contact
your local press/radio/TV about activity, meetings, especially in
the run up to the 11 September anniversary. Local media have to take
a high proportion of local news so you may find it easy to get on. |
 |
Write
letters to the press putting the case against the war. |
 |
Hold
meetings and video showings to get our message across. |
 |
Send out
financial appeal/standing orders to anyone you think will respond. |
 |
Get
resolutions through union branches backing the demo. |
 |
Organise
round schools and colleges for the beginning of September |
